My Cape Cod: The Beauty of the Off-Season

Traditionally speaking ... September through May is considered the off-season on Cape Cod. And summer being the time when most tourists visit the Cape naturally means most photographs are taken during the summer months of June, July, and August. And yes, the Cape is lovely year round ... But for those of us lucky enough to live on or near the Cape, the off-season can be the most beautiful of all.

Wood End Lighthouse at Dusk
Wood End Light Lookout Station is a historic station at the southwest end of Long Point in Provincetown, Massachusetts. The station was built in 1873 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.
